And when His greatness and wisdom were established through this great creation in this precise form, His divinity was established. He made it obligatory for them to affirm His oneness in worship, just as He is unique in creation. This is the essence of wisdom, just as His creation of this creation in this order indicates the secret of wisdom, glorified and exalted is He. He said, instructing the righteous among His party what they should use to awaken the opposers, reproaching them and denouncing their condition for deviating from Him while they know what He alone has in this creation: ﴿This﴾ [meaning] what you see entirely ﴿is the creation of Allah﴾ meaning that He possesses all greatness, and there is none comparable to Him.

And when the rational being, and even others, does not submit to anything except when he sees an action that necessitates submission to it, He alerted them to this by saying in response to what you might estimate: If you claim for what is less than Him, from what you worship besides Him, a creation you worship for its sake: ﴿Then show me what those have created﴾. The addition of the demonstrative pronoun increases the reprimand by emphasizing the intended negation of the words. He alerted them to the low status of their rank by saying, implying that there is nothing attributed to the greatest name that would fear being restricted by it as a deficiency: ﴿besides Him﴾. So He asked them to see what they have created, as if no one has ever submitted to what an animal would not submit to, let alone a human, since it has no action at all. Therefore, it was your right - if you have minds - to first investigate whether they have actions or not? Then if it is established, is it decisive or not? Then if it is established, did others participate with them or not? And if it is established that others participated with them, which of them is more decisive? As for your submission to them while they have no action at all, then you estimate that they have actions you hope for and fear them, this is something that no animal could conceive at all. That is why Allah, the Most High, said: ﴿But﴾, alerting that the answer is: they have no creation. Rather, you worship them or you are in making them partners. This was the original state, but He said: ﴿the wrongdoers﴾ meaning those deeply entrenched in wrongdoing, generalizing and alerting to the description that necessitated their being ﴿in great error﴾ that surrounds them ﴿clear﴾ meaning in utmost clarity, which is their placing things away from them due to their mountains of desires, so they have no wisdom.
