Then when they addressed the Messenger, they elevated their speech to the Sender in their address out of reverence for the matter and an increase in emphasis. They said, omitting the calling particle, to invoke His greatness by being close for more power and to hope for the status of the people of love: "Our Lord, we have believed in what You have sent down," meaning upon the tongues of all Your Messengers. "And we have followed the Messenger who has come to us with that, believing in his message from You and his servitude to You. So write us down for acceptance of our testimony and Your acknowledgment of it, "with the witnesses," meaning those whom You have stated have witnessed for You with unity along with the angels.
