And when the context guides to the meaning: "Do you think that He will not do that?"; He countered it with His saying: ﴿Or do you think﴾; meaning: O you who compelled our Prophet to go out in this direction; ﴿that you will enter Paradise﴾; meaning: that which has been prepared for the righteous; ﴿and Allah has not yet known﴾; meaning: He acts with knowledge and ability through testing; the action of one who wants to know; ﴿those who strive among you﴾; meaning: they engaged in jihad with sincere determination; then they carried it out with action to confirm the claim; ﴿and He knows the patient﴾; meaning: those whose characteristic is patience in times of calamities; and steadfastness in the face of great trials; confirming the apparent instincts; for that is the greatest evidence of trust in Allah; and His promise which is the clear expression of faith.
