Then he resumed the narration about the summary of their condition with them; he said - alerting or replacing the 'h' from the hamzah of denial -: "Here you are, these"; meaning: the believers, the Muslims, the submissive ones; "you love them"; meaning: for your being deceived by their acknowledgment of faith; due to the purity of your inner selves; "and they do not love you"; meaning: while they do not love you due to their opposition to you in religion; for they are lying in their acknowledgment of faith; "and you believe"; meaning: you; "in the whole Book"; meaning: while they disbelieve in it all; either by the first intention; or by believing in some and disbelieving in some; "and when they meet you, they say"; meaning: to you, "We have believed"; so that you may be deceived by them; "and when they are alone"; meaning: from you; and he depicted the intensity of their rage with his saying: "they bite their fingertips"; due to what they see of your unity; and the goodness of your conditions; "from rage"; meaning: excessive from you; and whoever made the 'h' in "Here you are" as a replacement for the hamzah of inquiry; the intended meaning for him is: "Are you, O these close ones to me, loving them; while they are upon what they are upon of opposing you; and you are upon what you are upon of intelligence; with the purity of thoughts; and the high opinions by your acceptance of the truth all of it; for the believer is clever and discerning; so it is an inquiry - even if it is from the valley of reproach - intended for alertness and incitement, moving from the lowest of degrees to the highest of ranks; and Allah is the One who grants success. And when they seemed to say: "What should we do?"; he said addressing the head that hears the command; the one who responds to the supplication: "Say"; meaning: to them; "Die in your rage"; meaning: in disdain for them; and a supplication against them; with the continuity of rage from the humiliation; and its increase; until it kills them; and when they were swearing to deny this to please them, Allah (the Exalted) affirmed what He informed of; so that it should not be thought that He intended by it anything other than the truth: "Indeed, Allah"; meaning: the One who encompasses the attributes of perfection; "is Knowing of what is in the breasts"; meaning: so do not think that He intended some of what is excused by the rage from it.
