Commentary
And when these verses possess refinement, and the precision of arrangement, and the beauty of context, they surpass all others. He referred to them - despite their proximity - with a tool of distance; and He attributed them to His greatest names; so He said: ﴿These are the verses of Allah﴾; meaning: these are the signs of the greatest King; of the highest ranks; and far-reaching in their scope. Then He began the news about them; in a manifestation of greatness; saying: ﴿We recite them﴾; meaning: we consistently recount them; and He increased their glorification after the beginning with the end; saying: ﴿To you﴾; then He affirmed that with His saying: ﴿In truth﴾; meaning: the meanings are established; the intentions are firm; the statements are true in all that they inform about; of your victory; and their destruction; without us wronging any of them; ﴿And Allah﴾; meaning: the One who possesses all perfection; ﴿does not intend injustice﴾; whether little or great; ﴿to the worlds﴾; meaning: He did not wrong them; nor does He intend injustice to any of them; because He - glorified and exalted is He - is exalted above that; it cannot be conceived from Him; and He is free of need for it; because He has everything.
