Commentary
And when the decree was: So those who associated others with Allah and did evil deeds, We will certainly admit them among the corrupt, but He concealed it due to the indication of the context. He added to it [as an encouragement to be good to parents] His saying: "And those who believed and did good deeds" in times of ease and hardship, "the righteous."
And when the righteous is often in a bad state in this world, having a deficient share of it, his enemy denies that his condition could be good with the greatest denial. He affirmed His saying: "We will certainly admit them" meaning: with a promise that there is no breaking of it, "among the righteous," and what a great entry it is, for it is one of the most eloquent attributes of the believers.
