And when he indicated that the one who denies the origin of revelation is deeply entrenched in disbelief, he demonstrated that by the state of the one to whom it was revealed, blessings and peace be upon him, saying to console him: "And not" meaning: We have revealed it to you while you were not "reading" meaning: you were not reading continuously and consistently at any time.
