20Say, “Go about in the land and look how He has originated the creation. Then Allah will create the subsequent creation. Surely Allah is powerful to do everything.”

And when the Mighty and Majestic One presented this evidence, regarding what the Friend argued with his people, the opportunity was seized in guiding His Prophet Ismail, blessings and peace be upon him, and greetings and honor. This is because when he, peace be upon him, deduced the oneness that necessitates the ability to resurrect by refuting the divinity of their deities, which necessitates the refutation of everything that resembles them, readiness was achieved to declare the matter of resurrection. He declared it, and that was a great pride, and a detailed and clear exposition for establishing the proof against Quraysh and the other Arabs. Thus, his opportunity was seized, and his depths were stormed, as is the habit of the eloquent and the practice of the wise orators. This was all presented as consolation for the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, and a sermon for his people. It was said: "Say" [that is]: O Muhammad, to those who are bound by what they have taken from the doctrines of their forefathers without any doubt regarding its correctness: It has been established that this is the speech of Allah due to your inability to oppose it. Thus, it has been established that this evidence is the speech of your father Ibrahim, blessings and peace be upon him, and you are declaring adherence to your forefathers without shying away from its disgrace, and there is no father greater than Ibrahim, blessings and peace be upon him. So if you imitate one who does not separate from him in the worship of that which does not harm or benefit without any doubt at all, then imitate your greatest father in the worship of Allah alone because he is your father. And when he established that with evidence that there is no dispute in it, he said: Or "travel" if you do not follow your father Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and contemplate what he established of decisive evidence and clear proof "in the earth" if the consideration of the conditions of your lands is not sufficient for you.
