أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ يُبۡدِئُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ ١٩ ﴿19

And when the decree was: Did you not see to their demise? And the consistency of their condition in their matter? So that is enough for you as a warning. He added to it to indicate the return to Him, denying his saying: ﴿Did they not see﴾ with the address in the reading of Hamzah and Al-Kisai and [in] a narration from Abu Bakr from Asim, following the previous sequence, and in the unseen for those who remain, turning away to indicate anger. ﴿How does Allah begin﴾ meaning: the One who has all perfection ﴿the creation﴾ meaning: He renews His beginning at every moment, and it is with the addition from abda’a, and it was read with the opening from bada’a, and both are together meaning the creation from nothing. Al-Qazzaz said: I began the thing, I begin it, beginning - if I created it - and Allah is the Initiator, meaning: the One who began creation. It is said: He began them and He initiated them. In Al-Qamus: Allah began creation: He created them as He initiated. And their vision for the initiation is present in animals for initiation and repetition in plants, and there is no difference in the repetition between one thing and another. So his saying: ﴿Then He will return it﴾ means: He renews its return at every glance, added to ﴿He begins﴾. And if it were not like that, then his addition to it would be from the perspective that the observation of the state of initiation was made an observation of the state of return from the perspective that there is no difference, and there is no need then to make an effort to add it to the sentence from the beginning. Then he belittled his matter in relation to His great power, so he said, mentioning the result of the previous matter: ﴿Indeed, that﴾ meaning: the initiation and the return, and he emphasized for the sake of their denial ﴿is easy for Allah﴾ because He is the One who encompasses all perfection, glorified and exalted is He from any blemish of deficiency.
