And say: This is a warning for them, and a desire and a hope and a threat: "All praise" means: the encompassing of the attributes of perfection "is due to Allah" meaning: the One who has all greatness, whether all have been guided or all have gone astray, or they have divided into the guided and the misguided, because nothing escapes His will.

And when the result of that is the ability over everything, He said: "He will show you" meaning: in this world and the Hereafter, with a promise that is certain, with no doubt in its occurrence, "His signs" meaning: the ones that will turn you away from what you are in on the day when it becomes lawful for me to enter this city, which He has forbidden, by what I have indicated in my being one of the warners, and other than that, what appears from His occurrences and becomes known from His days that the Qur'an has declared or hinted at, then its interpretation will come to you, and you will see it with your own eyes. This is the meaning of "and you will recognize it" meaning: by your remembering what I am warning you about now and describing to you from it, you will not doubt in anything of that, that it is as I have described it, nor will you be in doubt, so the greatness of the Qur'an will become apparent to you, and the clarification of the signs of the Book, which is the criterion, and you will see that with certainty. "And you will certainly know its news after a while" [Sad: 88] "On the day when its interpretation comes, those who forgot it before will say: The messengers of our Lord have come with the truth" [Al-A'raf: 53] "This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth" [Yasin: 52].

And when He had relieved them with the 'sīn' in the appointed times, and the decree was a consolation for him, blessings and peace be upon him: And your Lord is not neglectful of them while they are in this state of stubbornness, because your Lord is capable of what He wills. He then followed with His saying: "And your Lord" meaning: the One who is gracious to you with all that He has established you in of these great matters and magnificent states "is not unaware of what you do" meaning: of disobeying His commands and deviating from His prohibitions. And it is possible that the sentence is a state of the subject of "He sees" meaning: He will show you, not being unaware. And whoever read with the address, the meaning would be: of what you and your followers do of obedience. And it is from disobedience, so He will reward each of you according to what he deserves, and He will elevate your matter, and strengthen your support, and weaken their hands, and diminish their schemes, by what He has of wisdom, and knowledge, and the power of the word. So let no one think that His neglect of punishing them is due to being unaware of anything of their deeds; rather, that is because He has set a limit for them that they will inevitably reach, for the word does not change with Him. The last of it has returned as you see, with the clarification of the Book and the magnification of the Qur'an and the division of the people in it into the guided and the misguided, to its beginning, and the conclusion embraces its beginning with the wisdom of its Revealer, and the knowledge of its general and specific aspects, and other than that from what becomes apparent upon reflection and contemplation - and Allah is the One who grants success to what is correct, and to Him is the return and the destination.
