And when the stability of the cause of people is mostly constrained by the Book, he said, to approximate to their understanding: "And there is no hidden thing" [meaning: from any of the hidden matters] in the utmost of hiddenness "in the heavens and the earth" meaning: in any place of either of them. He specified them to indicate the intention of the encompassing kind that includes every individual "except in a Book" that He wrote before its existence, for nothing occurs except by His knowledge and decree "clear" in which nothing is hidden from whoever knows that from Him, however it may be.
