And when that was completed, it was as if it was said: Was there a test after that? It was said: Yes! It was said to her by a speaker from the soldiers of Sulayman, blessings and peace be upon him. She could not oppose what was there from the awe of kingship, prophethood, and religion: "Enter the palace" [which is a palace] that he built before her arrival. He sat in its center and made its courtyard of clear white glass, and he ran water beneath it, and he placed in it the creatures of the sea. Its origin is as he said in the gathering between the waves and the firm: A single house built separately (p-171) large and tall in the sky. It was said: Every spacious elevated building, and it was said: It is the palace, and it was said: Every high elevated building. The palace is the smooth land, and the courtyard of the house is its yard. This indicated her promptness in obeying the command [and her quick entry] with the conjunction, so it was said: "So when she saw it" and she expressed what is of the calculations indicating that her intellect, even if it was of the utmost soundness, was deficient due to her worship of others than Allah. So it was said: "She thought it" meaning: due to the clarity of the glass and the connection of the water to its lower surface, "a great depth" meaning: a great flood of water. She resolved to plunge into it, demonstrating her complete submission. "And she uncovered her shins" meaning: so that her clothes would not get wet, and she would not need to change them before reaching Sulayman, blessings and peace be upon him. He saw her as the most beautiful of people in shins and feet, except that they were hairy.

And when his desire was fulfilled, the reporting about his matter was resumed, and it was said: "He said" clarifying the greatness of his intellect, knowledge, wisdom, and power, confirming that due to the great similarity of the quality of the material and the perfection of the craftsmanship and its precision, it is hardly believable that it is a barrier to the water: "Indeed, this which you thought was water" "is a palace" meaning: a palace "made smooth" meaning: polished. The origin of the smoothness is the smoothness and evenness (p-172) "of" meaning: existing from "glass" meaning: glass so that it is described with the clarity of the water, and it is thought that there is no barrier between it. So when she saw what Allah had favored him with of knowledge, supported by wisdom, completed with dignity and tranquility, and supplemented with miracles, she hastened to obey him, knowing that he is the Messenger of Allah. So the Most High resumed the reporting about that with His saying: "She said" turning to him who had given her, seeking rain from his bounty, and begging from his great favor: "My Lord" meaning: O You who do good to me, "Indeed, I have wronged myself" meaning: by what I was in of blindness in worshiping others than You instead of worshiping You. "And I have submitted" meaning: so that the fruits of Islam may appear upon me.

And when she mentioned this foundation upon which the obedience cannot be built except upon it, she followed it with the call that the fruits of the actions established upon it cannot be completed except with love for him, and submission to him, and yielding and acknowledging the favor, and by his guidance to what is good from it and what is not good on the ways that cannot be established except by them from the quantities and qualities. So she said: "With Sulayman."

And when she mentioned the attribute of Lordship that necessitates worship with excellence, she mentioned the Greatest Name that indicates the essence that encompasses the attributes necessitating Divinity. She said: "To Allah," meaning: acknowledging Him with Divinity and Lordship in a manner of oneness. Then she returned, indicating the incapacity to know the essence as it truly is, to the actions which are the sea of knowledge. She said: "Lord of the worlds," thus encompassing after having specified, indicating the progression from the lowest depths of blindness to the highest degrees of guidance. So, may Allah reward her for what she has been taught! And the best of her roots and the most generous! It is said that Solomon, peace be upon him, married her and made the bathhouse - and he was the first to establish it - and he removed her hair with the depilatory.
