And when it became known that they were unable to say anything in response to their questioning as a reprimand, and it was known that a person is inclined to say about everything that befalls him what his perception stirs up for him from what he sees as cooling his anger and benefiting his ailment, the listener yearned to know their saying after the tumult. So it was indicated by that with the saying: ﴿They said﴾ meaning: the worshippers ﴿and they are in it﴾ meaning: the Hellfire ﴿disputing﴾ meaning: with the objects of worship.
