And when the drowning was by that which brings salvation - while it being a tremendous matter - strange and far, He expressed it with a tool of distance and said: ﴿Then We drowned﴾ meaning: the drowning is according to Our greatness ﴿the others﴾ meaning: Pharaoh and all his people, not one of them escaped.
