Commentary
He said: This is Moses, blessings and peace be upon him, trusting in the promise of Allah, speaking in a manner similar to what his Lord spoke to him at the beginning of the story, from His saying: "No"; meaning: they will not reach you at all. Then he explained that to calm them by saying: "Indeed, my Lord is with me". It is as if they said: And what could He possibly do now that they have reached? He said: "He will guide me"; meaning: with a confirmed promise of closeness, to what I will do that contains your salvation. And it has been mentioned in Al-Bara'ah the secret of the precedence of the companionship and its specificity and the expression with the name of the Lord.
