Commentary

And when the state of the one who turns away from something is the state of the one who denies it, He said: ﴿Indeed﴾ meaning: It has resulted from this action of them that they have ﴿denied﴾ meaning: they have confirmed the denial and brought it closer as previously mentioned at the end of that, [and they mocked along with the denial of Our signs].

And when the denial of the warning is a cause for its occurrence, and their state in their denial of him ﷺ is the state of the mocker, because whoever denies something, its value becomes light in his eyes, thus he becomes an object of mockery. He said, threatening: ﴿Surely it will come to them﴾ He caused it with the letter 'fa' and confirmed it with the letter 'seen', and he minimized the relief from what is at the end of Al-Furqan to make them know that what they have denied is inevitable, and that it is not a place for denial in any way. ﴿News﴾ meaning: great news and consequences,

﴿What﴾ meaning: the punishment that ﴿they were﴾ meaning: being as if they were created for it ﴿with it﴾ meaning: specifically due to their intense persistence in its truth alone ﴿they mock﴾ meaning: they mock, (p-10) but he expressed it with the letter 'seen' as an indication that their state in their intense desire for that mockery is the state of the seeker of it, [and they have included in it the denial, thus the verse is from the intertwining: it mentioned the denial first as evidence for its omission second, and the mockery second as evidence for the omission of a similar one first].
