And what is this? This is our attribute, while the state is that the disbelievers do not receive any reminder, which is something of admonition, reminder, and legislation, by which they mention us. It becomes the reason for their mention and their honor from the Most Merciful, whom they have denied while His blessings encompass them. It is a new thing in relation to its revelation and their knowledge of it. He indicated the permanence of their arrogance by saying: "Except that they are"; meaning a being that is like creation for them. He indicated by the precedence of the preposition and the caller to prayer with specification to what they have of vast thoughts and strong ambitions for everything they direct themselves towards. And that their turning away from it has a strength such that turning away from it is considered turning away from anything else as non-existence. He said: "From it"; meaning specifically. "Turning away"; meaning a turning away that is an attribute that is necessary for them.
