Commentary
And when He, glorified and exalted is He, informed that the purpose of revealing this Qur'an is that he, blessings and peace be upon him, is one of the warners, and followed that with what is appropriate until he concluded with the destruction of those who denied the warners, He turned to His saying: ﴿The Spirit descended with it﴾ [Ash-Shu'ara: 193] to indicate that the attention is intense in this context regarding the Qur'an to affirm that it is from Allah and to negate any confusion about it with His saying: ﴿And the devils did not descend with it﴾ meaning: the Qur'an ﴿as magic or soothsaying or poetry or the confused dreams as they say.
