﴿And you leave﴾ meaning: you abandon for this purpose ﴿what He has created for you﴾ meaning: marriage ﴿your Lord﴾ the Benefactor to you ﴿of your spouses﴾ meaning: and they are the females, on the condition that 'of' is for clarification, and it is permissible that it may be partitive, and the created being like that is the female.

And when they were as if they said: we have not left our wives, carrying the meaning of His saying on (p-82) the abandonment fundamentally and primarily, even though they understood that His intent was to leave them in the act of the males, He said, turning away from their words, this known estimation of what they intended by it, deviating from the truth, and persisting in wickedness: ﴿Rather, you are a transgressing people﴾ meaning: you have left the spouses by transgressing the act with them and exceeding it to the act with the males, and that is not an innovation from your affair, for transgression - which is exceeding the limit in evil - is a description for you that you are deeply rooted in it, so for that reason you do not stop at a limit set by Allah, the Most High.
