And he indicated the increase of consolation by their surprise at the denial without any contemplation or pause by his saying: ﴿When﴾ meaning: at the time ﴿their brother said to them﴾ meaning: the one whom they know his truthfulness and trustworthiness, and his compassion and protection ﴿is Salih﴾.
