And when they despaired of what they wanted from expelling his followers, due to what they implied about following him if he were to expel them as a deception, they turned to threats. So, glorified and exalted is He, began to inform about that by saying: ﴿They said, 'If you do not stop'﴾. Then they called him by his name, in rudeness and lack of manners, saying: ﴿O Noah, you will surely be among the stoned﴾, meaning: the killed, and the followers of yours, these weak ones, will not benefit you.
