And when he presented to them piety gently, and explained that by what has been established regarding its matter, certainty arose from it, so he said: ﴿So fear Allah﴾ meaning: create fear and caution and protection from that which is characterized by majesty and beauty, hastening to that by His Oneness so that you may secure the essence of happiness and be among the people of Paradise. ﴿And obey me﴾ meaning: in all that I command you so that you may secure the rank of perfection in that, and no punishment will touch you.
