And when the friend may not be worthy of intercession, they said, expressing sorrow for the least that is possible: ﴿And no friend﴾ meaning: one who is truthful in his affection for us to do what benefits us. And when the truest friendship is that which comes from the close one, he said: ﴿A close friend﴾ meaning: near. Its origin is the pure one that is burned by what burns you, because we have cut off by that every one who has a matter on this day; and he specified to emphasize the negation and to indicate its scarcity in itself or its non-existence.
