And when the letter 'fa' indicated causation, and the emphasis of the action by the source indicated the need for much action, perhaps it is beyond the capacity of humans. He pointed to the way to it by the two great descriptions. He followed that by clarifying the way to it by what is customary, saying: ﴿And whoever repents﴾, meaning from sin, whether it is disbelief or something lesser, ﴿and does good﴾, confirming his claim of repentance.
And when it was in the context of encouragement, he made it clear with emphasis, saying: ﴿righteous﴾, even if each of his intention and action is weak. And he encouraged glorified and exalted is He in that by saying, informing that he reaches Allah: ﴿Indeed, he repents﴾, meaning he returns, reaching ﴿to Allah﴾, the One who has the attributes of perfection. He accepts repentance from His servants and forgives the sins. ﴿A great return﴾, meaning a truly great return, by which Allah encourages him towards righteous deeds. So he remains every day in an increase in his intention and action, thus what was heavy upon him becomes lighter, and what was difficult for him becomes easy, and what was hard for him becomes simple, as previously mentioned in ﴿Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, their Lord will guide them by their faith﴾ [Yunus: 9]. And he continues like this until He loves him, so his hearing becomes that by which he hears, and his sight becomes that by which he sees, and his hand becomes that by which he strikes, and his foot becomes that by which he walks, by granting him success in good. So he hears only what pleases Him, and so on. And whoever acts contrary to this, upon him is the curse of Allah, for opposing the consensus of the Muslims.
