And when He, the Exalted, mentioned their bliss in it, He mentioned their enjoyment in it and said: ﴿For them in it﴾ meaning in Paradise specifically, not in anything else ﴿is what they wish﴾ of all that their souls desire ﴿abiding﴾ they do not seek to change from it ﴿that was﴾ meaning all of that ﴿upon your Lord﴾ meaning the One who is good to you by being good to your followers ﴿a promise﴾.

And when He, glorified and exalted is He, indicated the obligation of that upon His great Self by the expression of "upon" and the promise, and since man is especially inclined to pride, he hardly allows himself to ask for what does not ensure its occurrence, He said: ﴿questioned﴾ meaning truly to ask for its fulfillment, because the one who asks is worthy to have his question answered, and his hopes and expectations realized. The believer will then say in that position: I wish that nothing of his supplications had been hastened for him.

And Ibn Hibban in his Sahih and Al-Hakim said: The chain is authentic - from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him, said: "Do not be unable in supplication, for no one will perish with supplication."

And Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim from Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, said: "Call upon Allah while you are certain of the response."
