And when He exposed them for what they concealed of their allegiance, He made what they revealed abhorrent to them. He said, expressing with a tool of affirmation: "And when they are called" meaning those who claimed faith from any caller it may be, "to Allah" meaning what the Greatest King has established of His rulings, "and His Messenger to judge between them" meaning the Messenger, "with what Allah has shown him".
