And when the inhabitants may be absent, and since a person, due to being a private matter, does not like to expose all of his affairs to others, he said: "So if you do not find therein" meaning in the houses where there are no inhabitants of yours, "anyone" who may prevent you, then Allah prevents you from it, prioritizing the prevention of evils. "So do not enter them" meaning never, "until permission is granted to you" from one who gives permission with a legal permission from the inhabitant or others. This is because entering is a transaction in the property or right of another, and it is not permissible without his permission.
