And when prayer is the most exalted matter that has been entrusted in the religion, and it is the most confirmed, and it is among the hidden matters that have been entrusted, due to what Allah has alleviated for this nation by making its time and place spacious, He said: ﴿And those who are upon their prayers﴾ which they are described as having humility in them ﴿they maintain﴾ meaning they renew their commitment to it with utmost seriousness. They do not leave anything of its obligatory acts or its recommended acts, and they strive for its perfection. It was unified in the recitation of Hamzah and Al-Kisai for the sake of the type, and it was gathered among the congregation as a reference to its numbers and types. It is not hidden what is in the beginning of these attributes and their conclusion with prayer from the glorification of it, as He, blessings and peace be upon him, said: 'And know that the best of your deeds is prayer.'
