Commentary
And when the greatness of the king necessitates the acceptance of what he has brought and the honor of being associated with it in any case, it indicates that it is a truth whose acceptance grants honor even if it were not from the king. So how about if it is from Him? How about if He is the King of kings and the Owner of sovereignty? How about if the one bringing it is the purest of servants and the noblest of creation? As the evidence has established by negating all these objections, He said, emphasizing 'We have given them': ﴿And indeed, You﴾ meaning with the negation of all these objections ﴿will surely call them﴾ meaning with this mention, along with what we have presented of the reasons that call to follow You by negating all objections against You and what You have brought ﴿to a straight path﴾ in which there is no deviation or fault at all, as the sound minds testify. Whoever follows it will reach the goal and attain every honor, while they, however, He expressed with a description that carries them towards blindness and said.
