Then he established for them what he made them understand, that its opposite is for their opposites. He said: ﴿Those﴾, meaning specifically ﴿they hasten﴾, meaning they precede like one who races another ﴿in good deeds﴾. He made that understood as the opposite of what he mentioned for their opposites by saying: ﴿and they are for it﴾, meaning specifically to it, that is to its fruits. However, he expressed it with the preposition 'lam' as an indication of increased closeness to it and reaching it with safety, to make good deeds a context for hastening to take them in their reality for the purpose of transference. ﴿Preceding﴾ all people, for we hasten for them in the causes greater than their hastening in the means. It is permissible that ﴿Preceding﴾ means: exalted, from the valley of 'My mercy precedes My wrath' (p-161), meaning that they are capable of it and assisted in it.
