And when He commanded him to turn away from them, that was hard on the soul due to its longing for support. He hoped for that by saying: "Allah, the One who has no equal, will judge between you," meaning between you and your followers and between them, "on the Day of Resurrection," which is the Day of Mutual Loss. "In what you differed," meaning in what is for you like the nature of it, "in it," meaning specifically, "you differ in matters of religion. Whoever supports that day will not care about what befalls him before it. "And those who have wronged will know to what place they will turn." [Ash-Shu'ara: 227] Al-Baghawi said: "And disagreement is when each one of the two opposing parties goes to what the other has opposed."
