Commentary
And when this is a place that comes to mind regarding their deities and what they hope for from them of benefit, he said, addressing them with the intention of reprimanding and belittling: "Indeed, you" and he emphasized it to deny their claim of the content of the news: "and what you worship" O polytheists from the idols and the devils; and since they worship Him, glorified and exalted is He, willingly and unwillingly along with polytheism, he restricted it by saying, indicating that the rank of what they worshiped is from the lowest ranks that exist beneath His rank, glorified and exalted is He: "besides Allah" meaning the supreme King who has no equal; and since they are thrown with them into Hell like the throwing of small stones that are called pebbles, quickly and forcibly, they will be fuel for it without being removed, he said: "the fuel of Hell" meaning the layer that the tortured will encounter with frowning, scowling, and aversion; then he confirmed that by saying, as a new statement: "You are surely going to enter it" meaning entering like the entrance of the thirsty into a state that is between blackness with smoke and redness with flame.
