Commentary
So whoever does good among them now, while he is a believer, meaning he is building his deeds on the correct foundation, then there is no denial of his effort. Rather, we will reward him according to what he deserves and increase him from Our bounty. And indeed, for his effort now, in light of Our greatness, we are recording. What we have recorded will not be lost; rather, it will remain, so that we may inform him of it on the Day of Judgment after we grant him the ability to remember it, so he will not lose anything from it, whether little or much. It is known that its two parts are: 'And whoever does evil while he is a disbeliever, we will not give him any weight,' and 'Whoever does it while he is a believer, then he is in Our will.' Perhaps he omitted these two parts to encourage belief.
