But, and as an indication of this meaning of slander and refutation, it depicts the truth by making the truth as if it is a solid body like a rock that is thrown upon a soft hollow body. He said: "We will throw" meaning our affair is to throw a severe throwing "with the truth" which is this wise mention that We have revealed entirely and firmly, with no amusement in it nor falsehood, nor is it comparable to anything of the two, nor can you take anything from it as amusement that an impartial one would agree with you upon. So we throw with it "upon falsehood" that you have produced without yourselves "and it will refute it" meaning it will obliterate it as the obliteration of a broken brain. "And when it is" immediately "vanishing" meaning the soul is departing, meaning it is perishing; then he turned to what was indicated by "when" saying: "And for you" meaning and then for you, O deniers, "woe from what you describe" meaning from your description of everything according to what your souls desire without permission from Us, because you do not grasp the realities of matters. If you describe the Qur'an with something from what has preceded, then We throw upon it what clarifies its falsehood, it becomes clear to every rational person that you must call woe upon your inclination completely. And if you describe Allah or the world or others, then likewise you are only clinging to the husks and appearances that only a distant one from reason, veiled from perception, would accept.
