And when this is an indication of their guidance, the meaning is: We have not sent you except for their happiness and sufficiency in conveying to them the gardens of bliss. It is known with certainty that there is no supporter for you except Allah, who knows the saying in the heavens and the earth. Among the greatest manifestations of this honor in the general mercy is during the great intercession on the day when the first and the last are gathered, and the angels stand in rows, and the two creations are among them, and they surge against one another from the intensity of what they are in, seeking someone to intercede for them to be judged so they may find relief from that distress, either to a garden or to a fire. They will approach the greatest of the prophets, one prophet after another, blessings and peace be upon them, and greetings and honor. Some of them will refer others to one another, and each of them will say: I am not fit for this, until they come to him ﷺ and he will say: I am fit for this, [and he will stand -] and with him is the banner of praise, and Allah will grant him intercession, and this is the praised station which the first and the last envy him for. I have already mentioned much of this in Surah Ghafir at the verse: "And there is no intercessor who is obeyed" [Ghafir: 18].
