And when this was a reason for the denial of those who said this, He said: "Do they not see?" That is, did they say that? So their saying resulted from their blindness to the vision of "that"; that is, that "it does not return to them with a saying." And the deity cannot be mute. "Nor can He possess for them harm," so they fear Him as they used to fear Pharaoh, and they say that out of fear of His harm. "Nor benefit," so they say that out of hope for Him.
