Commentary
Eat. And it indicates His abundance by His saying: 'of the good things which.' And it indicates His greatness by His saying: 'We have provided you with.' This and other than it.
And when wealth and comfort are the cause of generosity, He said: 'And do not transgress therein' by saving for tomorrow on days other than Friday, nor by anything else from arrogance and neglecting gratitude by spending it in disobedience. 'Then it will descend,' meaning it will come down, [and it is obligatory at its time which is the most deserving of times for it -] - according to the reading of the majority with the kasrah, and a great descent and severe punishment - according to the reading of al-Kisai with the dammah. 'Upon you is My anger,' so you will perish because of that. 'And whoever causes My anger to be upon him' from you and others, 'has certainly fallen,' meaning his state is like that of one who has fallen from a height.
