Commentary

Then they justified this sealing by their saying: "Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord," meaning the One who raised him and was good to him by creating him and providing him with everything that benefits him. "A criminal," meaning one who cuts off what he was commanded to connect. "For him is Hell," the abode of humiliation. "He will not die in it" ever, despite the severity of its punishment.

Unlike your punishment which, if it intensifies, kills and then quickly disappears, and if it is light, it does not alleviate, and its end is death even if it is prolonged. "And he will not live in it a life by which he benefits."
