And when the situation was guiding to say: What is your answer, O Musa, regarding what you have heard? And He, the Exalted, knew that he would hasten to answer with obedience in all that had preceded. He omitted this saying, indicating to him that he turned to him with His saying: ﴿And what is that﴾ meaning the high measure ﴿in your right hand, O Musa﴾ intending - after reassuring him with His question about what He knows better than him - to establish the proof for him with what would be a sign of the Hour from the swiftness of the ability to create what did not exist, with the heart of the staff being alive after confirming that it was a stick upon close observation of it when asked about it, so that he would increase in steadfastness and strengthen those who are sent to them.
