So We said, due to the greatness that belongs to Us, "Strike him with a part of the cow." And he implied the mention of the cow and did not show evidence of the unity of this first part of the story, which was made second by the part that preceded it, in that they are one story. He said, "with a part of it." Imam Abu Ali al-Farisi said in the Book of Evidence: We said, "Strike the slain with a part of the cow," so they struck him with it and he came back to life.
