265The example of those who spend their wealth to seek the pleasure of Allah and to make firm (their faith) from (the depths of) their souls is like a garden on a foothill on which came a heavy rain, and it yielded its produce twofold. Even if a heavy rain does not come to it, a light drizzle is enough, and Allah is watchful of what you do.

And when he finished with the example of the one who is free from the condition, he struck for the one who is associated with the condition from spending an example that alerts to the fact that others do not seek thereby the face of Allah. He said: ﴿And the example of﴾ Al-Harali said: as a conjunction to ﴿like the one who spends his wealth to show off to people﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 264] ﴿and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 264] as a conjunction of opposition, and to ﴿the example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 261] as a conjunction of relevance.
