And when He mentioned what indicates the honor of His allies, He followed it with what indicates the humiliation of His enemies, so He said: ﴿And We will drive the criminals﴾, meaning with disbelief and other forms of disobedience, like cattle, in a harsh, disturbing, and swift manner ﴿to Hell﴾ by the might of the Avenger, the Compeller ﴿as a herd﴾, meaning in a state of thirst.
