Commentary
And when salvation from it was thereafter deemed unlikely, he said, indicating it with a tool of distance: "Then We will save". This means a great salvation according to the reading of the majority, and a general rescue according to the reading of al-Kisai. It is as if this is due to the differing conditions of the people, while the general does not contradict the restricted. "Those who feared" means they were cautious from it in such a way that they would be in a state of coldness and peace upon their arrival. "And We will leave the wrongdoers" means we will leave them in the worst of conditions, those who placed things in other than their proper places and continued in that, so they were in their actions stumbling like the blind. "In it, kneeling" as they were around it, not finding a way by which they could be saved from it.
