Commentary
'And We granted them' all of them 'from Our mercy' meaning something very great, with blessings in wealth and children, and the answering of supplications, and kindness in decree, and other than that from the good things of this world and the Hereafter. 'And We made for them' by virtue of Our greatness 'a lofty tongue of truth' meaning a truthful mention that is very high in status, by which they are praised and upon which they are extolled by all the people of the faiths throughout the ages, and through the passage of night and day. And He expressed with the tongue what is found therein. And in this is an encouragement for migration a second time after He encouraged it with the story of the People of the Cave first. And He alluded to it with His saying in 'Subhan' 'And say, My Lord, admit me into a goodly entrance' [Al-Isra: 80] - the verse.
