And when it was known that it shook and the fresh dates fell, it caused His saying: ﴿So eat﴾, meaning that as a result of the blessing upon you with water and fresh dates, it is said to you, enabling you from both of them, eat from the fresh dates ﴿and drink﴾ from the cool water ﴿and settle﴾, meaning remain ﴿with your eyes﴾ in sleep.
