﴿Those﴾ meaning the high-ranking ones. ﴿For them are gardens of Eden﴾ meaning a place of residence. So it is as if it was said: What do they have in it? It was said: ﴿Rivers flow beneath them﴾ meaning beneath their dwellings. So it is as if it was said: Then what? It was said: ﴿They will be adorned in it﴾ (p-55) and the action was built for the unknown because the intention is the existence of adornment, and due to its honor, it is brought from the unseen as a favor from Allah, the Most High.

And when [Allah is greater than everything, His blessings cannot be counted in type, He, the Most High, said, dividing: ﴿From bracelets﴾ the plural of bracelet, the plural of bangle, as kings of this world wear from the tyrants of the disbelievers in some regions like the people of Persia. And when its purpose has a regard for preference and action by choice in general, the encouragement in obedience to Him occurred by what is [higher than] silver, so He said, also dividing: ﴿From gold﴾ meaning gold that is of the utmost greatness. And when clothing is a reward for [action] - and it is present with them - He attributed the action to them, so He, the Most High, said: ﴿And they will wear green garments﴾ then He described it by His saying: ﴿Of fine silk﴾ which is what is thin from brocade, ﴿And thick brocade﴾ which is what is thick of it; then He began a new description about their state while sitting in it, that it is the sitting of kings who are secure in bliss, so He, the Most High, said: ﴿Reclining in them﴾ meaning because they are in utmost comfort ﴿On couches﴾ meaning on beds with [canopies], then He praised this, saying: ﴿What an excellent reward﴾ meaning if it did not have a description other than what you have heard, how could it be when it has from the descriptions (p-56) what no one knows its true knowledge except Allah, the Most High! And to that He referred by His saying: ﴿And it is beautiful﴾ meaning the garden is all of it, and He distinguished that by His saying: ﴿A place of comfort﴾.
