28Keep yourself content with those who call their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure, and let not your eyes overlook them, seeking the splendor of the worldly life. And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who has followed his desire and whose behavior has exceeded the limits.

And when the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him and his family, was very eager for their faith and greatly saddened by their turning away from him, he was almost killing himself out of grief for them. They would say to him, when they saw such truth that they could not refute: "If you expel these poor ones and distance them from you, like 'Ammar, Suhayb, and Bilal, then we would sit with you and listen to you, hoping to follow you." He was encouraging him to follow him, dissuading him from those other than them, whoever they may be, indicating that there is no refuge for anyone who opposes the command of Allah and that they only want to change the words of Allah. Indeed, your Lord, glorified is He, will save your followers, despite their weakness, from them, just as He saved the companions of the cave. And He will increase you by exalting them over them and driving away the tyrants in their hands, because they are turning towards Allah, turning away from anything else, while others are turning towards something else, turning away from Him.
