Say, 'Allah' is the One who has complete encompassing knowledge. He knows better than you what they remained. Then He explained that by saying, 'To Him alone belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth.' He knows it all as it is, and He does not forget anything from the past, nor does anything from the present escape Him, nor is He unable to do anything that is to come. There is no doubt in what He informs.

And since hearing and sight are the means of knowledge, and He possesses them in a way that no one else knows truly as He knows, He was astonished by that, saying, 'See with it and hear.' And since the one who stands for something may have another take his place either by force or partnership, He negated that, so the door of knowledge was closed to others except from His direction. He said, 'What is the matter with them?' meaning these questioners and those being questioned who are casting stones at the unseen from the companions of the cave, 'besides Him.' And He emphasized by saying, 'No protector' who would shelter them from Him or by other than what He has informed. 'And He does not share in His judgment with anyone,' so He does something without His command or informs of something through other than His way.
