Then he urged after that on the night prayer; for its superiority; and its intensity; so He said (the Most High): ﴿And from﴾; meaning: and upon you is some; or stand some of the ﴿night and pray﴾; meaning: leave sleeping - which is sleep - for prayer; ﴿with it﴾; meaning: with the entirety of the Qur'an; for it is from the good usage; ﴿an additional prayer for you﴾; meaning: an increase specific to you; Abd al-Ghafir al-Farisi said in Majma' al-Ghara'ib: and the origin of
