And when He began - glorified is He - with the warning; as a kindness to those accountable; He turned to 'Go'; His saying - representing his state in his dominance over those he misleads with a trap he set for a people; so he called out to them with a voice; to stir them from their places; and to uproot them from their positions; and he brought upon them with his army; of cavalry; and infantry; until he eradicated them -: ﴿And provoke﴾; meaning: make light of; and 'fazz' its origin is: cutting; meaning: make him slip by cutting him off from the truth; this was said by al-Rummani; ﴿Whomever you are able from them﴾; and they are those whom We have given you power over; ﴿With your voice﴾; meaning: your supplication with singing; and flutes; and all that you beautify with whispers; ﴿And gather﴾; meaning: collect; or shout with all that you can of shouting; ﴿Against them with your cavalry﴾; meaning: the riders of your army; ﴿And your infantry﴾; meaning: and your foot soldiers; and the meaning is: do all that you are able to do; and do not leave anything of your strength; for you cannot do anything that I have not decreed for you.

And when the devil seeks the partnership of people in all their matters; with his whispers carrying them to corrupt it; if they obey him, they are seeking to associate him; even if they are not aware of it; he expressed this with the form of mutual action; so He said (Exalted is He): ﴿And share with them﴾; meaning: by your jumping upon their mixing with you when they participate with you in doing what agrees with your desires; ﴿In wealth﴾; meaning: that which they strive to acquire; ﴿And children﴾; meaning: that which they produce; if they acquire it in a forbidden manner; or they do not mention My name upon it; and likewise their offerings to others than Allah; and their spending in the forbidden; and teaching their children sins; and disbelief; participating in it; ﴿And promise them﴾; of false promises that make light of them; and deceive them; of the intercession of the deities; and honor with Allah (Exalted is He); and procrastination of repentance; and similar to that; then He turned to the righteous among His servants; and informed them; to strengthen them; and to alert others; that nothing is in his hands; so He said (Exalted is He) - revealing his inner self; with what indicates his belittlement; denouncing his matter; and repelling from him -: ﴿And what the devil promises them﴾; meaning: the one who is burned; the one cast out with the curse; of the non-resurrection; and the long lifespan; and the intercession of the deities; and similar to that; ﴿Except delusion﴾; and 'delusion': beautifying the error; with what suggests that it is correct;.
